Hardware Sugar Website & Admin Page
This Charter formally authorizes the Hardware Sugar Website & Admin Page Project to design, develop, and implement a new customer-facing website and backend admin system for Hardware Sugar.
A comprehensive project plan will be developed and submitted to the Project Sponsor for approval. The plan will include scope statement, schedule, cost estimate, budget, and provisions for scope, resource, schedule, communications, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management, as well as project control.
All resources will be assigned by the Project Sponsor, Jose Carlo Reyes, Head of Branch.
The purpose of the Hardware Sugar Website & Admin Page project is to modernize the company’s digital presence, improve customer experience, and streamline internal operations.
This project addresses Hardware Sugar’s business need for a scalable, efficient, and user-friendly system by:

Delivering a Main Website with item listings, shopping carts, checkouts, and order tracking to enhance customer engagement and sales.

Implementing a Backend/Admin Page with advanced management tools, including:

Cater (Anonymous Queuing System): allows customers to track service progress via secure codes, with added features such as queue position, estimated wait time, and optional notifications.

Sales Records: advanced filtering, export options, and visual dashboards for performance tracking.

Payment Links: secure generation, expiration tracking, and multi-gateway integration.

Rewards System: tiered points, redemption tracking, and customer-facing balance portal.

Stock Tool: real-time updates, low-stock alerts, barcode/QR support, and audit logs.

Logs: detailed activity tracking with role-based access and automated backups.
Deliverables include:

Fully functional customer-facing website.

Robust admin panel with the above features.

Integration with existing IT infrastructure.

Documentation and user guides for both systems.

Success Criteria: The Project Sponsor will determine success once the system is implemented, tested, and one full month of operations demonstrates improved efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction metrics.
The Project Manager, Ervyne Anthony V. Chan, is hereby authorized to interface with management as required, negotiate for resources, delegate responsibilities within the framework of the project, and to communicate with all contractors and management, as required, to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.
The Project Manager is responsible for developing the project plan, monitoring the schedule, cost, and scope of the project during implementation, and maintaining control over the project by measuring performance and taking corrective action.
The project plan will be submitted and approved in accordance with the milestone schedule below. Upon approval of the project plan, resources will be assigned to the project, and work will commence within 5 business days. The Project Sponsor must approve any schedule changes which may impact milestones. A detailed schedule will be included in the project plan.

The budget for the Hardware Sugar Website & Admin Page project is $420,000. It is to be funded through the FYxx Human Resources Technology Budget.
